Creating and Managing Subscriptions

This SOP outlines the steps to create and manage subscriptions within the payment platform, ensuring a clear understanding for team members.

Accessing the Payments Section
Navigate to your platform.
Click on the 'Payments' section to access all payment-related functionalities, including invoices and estimates.
Creating a Product for Subscription
Go to the 'Product' section.
Click on 'Create Product'.
Enter the product name (e.g., 'Coaching, monthly').
Select 'Reoccurring' for subscription products (do not select 'One time').
Set the price (e.g., $1,000 per month).
If applicable, specify the number of payments (e.g., 5 for a $5,000 package).
Press 'Save'.
Adding a Subscription
Click on 'Subscriptions'.
Select 'Add a Subscription'.
Enter the customer's name.
Choose a start date for the subscription (e.g., tomorrow).
Selecting Eligible Products for Subscription
Review the list of products created under 'Reoccurring'.
Select the appropriate product for the subscription.
Finalizing Subscription Setup
Ensure your payment gateway is set to live (not test).
Click 'Schedule' to finalize the subscription setup.
Monitoring Subscription Status
Check the subscription section for active subscriptions.
If a subscription fails, it will be indicated in this section.
Accessing Payment Links for Active Subscriptions
Once subscriptions are active, payment links will be available in the subscription section.
Cautionary Notes
Always ensure the payment gateway is set to live before scheduling subscriptions.
Do not select 'One time' for subscription products; always choose 'Recurring'.
Tips for Efficiency
Double-check product details before saving to avoid errors.
